No. The Aqua One phone is NOT a subscription, and there are no payments required to use it once it is purchased.
Understanding the Aqua One Phone Price:
One-time purchase: The Aqua One is a one-time purchase of $999. You can pay the full kids phone price upfront using a credit or debit card.
Optional pay over time at checkout: If you prefer to split your Aqua One phone purchase into multiple payments, you can choose Afterpay or Klarna at checkout. These payment plans are offered and managed entirely by the provider you select, with no APR or extra fees added by Cyber Dive.
No fees or charges: You don't have to pay any monthly fees, service charges, or subscriptions to use the Aqua One or the Parent Dashboard. Whether you pay upfront or over time, there are no payments owed to Cyber Dive to use the device or any of its monitoring features.
Full ownership: Once your purchase is complete, the Aqua One phone is yours to keep. No ongoing charges from us now or in the future, and no risk of losing access to your monitoring features if you stop paying a subscription, because there is no subscription.
What About Cellular Service?
Cellular service for the Aqua One is managed through your chosen carrier, not Cyber Dive. Your carrier may charge a monthly fee for your child's data plan for this kids phone, but that cost is completely separate from the kids phone price and is billed directly by your provider. The Aqua One is compatible with any major carrier that supports Nano-SIM or eSIM.
